Useful Private School Information To Help You Choose A School

From , former About.com Guide

Mulgrave School, Vancouver

"Mulgrave School was founded on the notion of the triad: an educational triangle whose firm base is formed by the strong link of cooperation, mutual respect and common goals between parents and the school - and the pinnacle of which is formed by the children whose education we all treasure so dearly. Just as we wish our children to 'be the best they can be', the close co-operation between school and parents helps the school itself to be the best it can be. This is accomplished by helping parents to understand and embrace the school's mission, share its core values, and fully support its curriculum, faculty and staff."

Queen Margaret School, Duncan

"QMS opened its doors for the first time on April 4th, 1921, with a total of 14 boys and girls. Named after Queen Margaret's School in Scarborough, England, where Miss Denny had attended as a boarder, it included many things from Uplands School and St. Leonards-on-Sea in Sussex, at which Miss Geoghegan was a student. Queen Margaret's, Scarborough, later moved to Escrick Park in Yorkshire, and recognized QMS Duncan as its sister school, allowing QMS Duncan to form an overseas branch Old Girls' Association."
