Is Accreditation Necessary?
For small schools and K-6 schools, probably not. For most junior and senior high schools accreditation is an important indicator of many things to the outside world. Accreditation attests to the strength of your programs, the quality of your staff and facilities. Most importantly it examines how well you live up to the stated mission of your school. More here.
