Canadian Students Comment on Gender-based Education
Tuesday September 19, 2006
Perceptions and Attitudes of Students toward their Academic and Social Experiences in Canadian High Schools gives the results of an online survey taken in 2005 by over 17,000 Canadian students. I am not a trained researcher, so I shall not comment on the survey's methodology. I am glad to see this first step being taken in exploring a subject which has fascinated me for many years. Whether single sex education or coeducation is more beneficial for children has been a subject of some debate in the United States as well. Congratulations to private school educators in Canada for publishing this survey.
Single Sex Education offers my take on the subject. Comments anyone?
