Private vs Independent Schools

You and I hear the terms 'private schools' and 'independent schools' bandied about as though they mean the same thing. But do they? Find out the answer here. Ashbrook Independent School (above) in Corvallis, Oregon, opened its doors a few years ago. It's wonderful to see new schools succeed. Their founders not only had vision, but they also had a sound business plan. Too many new ventures of any kind fail without sound planning. A school is no different.
