Plenty of famous people attended private school. For example, Prince Abdullah of Jordan went to Deerfield Academy. Other famous private school alums include Chelsea Clinton, Daniel Radcliffe, Mel Gibson, Reese Witherspoon and many more. So, which famous people went to your school? We're all dying to know!
Christian Bale
- In addition to my previous post I have just found out that Benny Hill was evacuated during WW2 to Bournemouth and attended Bournemouth School for a while. Alex James (the bassist from Blur) also attended, and still lives fairly locally on a farm where he specialises in making cheeses. I saw him in the supermarket with his family the other week.

Christian Bale School
- I started at Bournemouth School in 1989, so I assume that Christian Bale was attending at around the same time. The only thing I would say is that it is NOT a private school, but it is a Grammar School. Also, Benny Hill was there as part of an army company that stayed in the school during WW2 (possibly for only a short period), although I don't have any further details about that.
