Milton Hershey School was established by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909. Mr. Hershey created a trust for the benefit of the school which bears his name. Under the terms of the trust the school enrolls students who meet various admissions criteria. Preference is given to children in the local area where the school is located but students from the rest of Pennsylvania and outside the state may also apply.

Academics:

Milton Hershey School educates children from age 4 through graduation from high school. It has the skilled, trained and certified faculty to accomplish this mission. The high school division offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum coupled with hands-on training which makes graduates ready for the job market.

In addition high school students earn credits during high school to cover most of their college or trade school expenses.
