An educational consultant will be helpful as she will know schools which not only will be a good fit for your child but also which ones might have openings. If you are moving to a new area, ask your realtor for help. The local attorneys and clergy are other professionals worth speaking with about your education options.
Special needs, therapeutic and alternative schools work a little differently. They are accustomed to admitting students throughout the year.
