Commentary:
Stanstead College is one of those hidden treasures in the private school world. Everybody has heard of Choate, Hotchkiss, Andover and so on. But Stanstead? Wait until you visit the 600 acre campus and discover the incredible, uncrowded ski hills close by. And Montreal with all its cultural and other amenities 90 minutes away via the Autoroute. This small boarding school has just about everything you and your child could ask for as far as academics, sports and extracurricular activities go. Worried that she won't be prepared properly for a U.S. college? Don't worry. Stanstead like most Canadian schools uses the AP curriculum. Having attended a Canadian school adds an attractive dimension to your child's college applications. Put Stanstead on your list.
