Time Line for the Private School Search Process

Unless you are starting the school search process, April is a rather quiet month. If you applied to school with an admissions deadline in January or February, April usually has the latest reply date for accepting the place your child has been offered. Make sure you stick to that deadline.

If you are just starting the school search process for entry in 16 months, use April to review the process and to being mapping out when to take care of certain time-intensive tasks. School visits often require a long drive or even plane flights to get there. Coordinating all these visits requires some serious organization. As always, don't leave it to the last minute.
