Business Managers' Resources
| A private school without a competent Business Manager?
Now there's a nightmare for you! Your school wouldn't make it through a
month! Just coping with sending out tuition bills and keeping track of
who has paid and who hasn't, not to mention reconciling all those accounts,
paying the staff and all those bills, and on and on. And that's just the
financial side of it! (We all know that a business officer does much more
than just the banking!)
Now, it goes without saying that the older, more established schools rarely have difficulties with administration. The sheer size and scope of these operations is awesome. They indeed resemble small to medium sized corporations in the business arena. I am not too much concerned about these monoliths. I do thank them for their example and trail blazing efforts, and, above all, for their willingness to share their experiences and to help others. This feature is squarely aimed at the smaller schools, the newer schools, all who need help and seek to learn from the advice and experience of others. Folks, there is no need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to running a school! I have assembled four categories of links for you. They can be found at Business Managers' Resources. Next, click on the NBOA page and JOIN! You need NBOA and it will be very happy to help you. A more caring, sharing group of people is hard to find anywhere on the Internet! Be sure to visit the Private Schools Forum before you leave! We need to hear from you! Did you sign up for your copy of the Private Schools Newsletter? It's a weekly, offering new links and much more of interest to parents, teachers, administrators and students! Read it online too. Rob |
