Thinking about Electronic Yearbooks?

Most of you know that I am a sales manager and corporate trainer in TigerDirect.com's corporate and educational sales department. As a result I get to monitor trends in technology daily.
I am fascinated to see schools using DVD burning technology to create some pretty amazing yearbooks. What a great idea! In the bad old days you started working on the yearbook in the fall for submission to the printer in the spring. It was a tedious process and very costly. Now a DVD duplicator can be had for $2-3,000 and digital photography and audio do the rest. Not only that, but the same equipment can be used to record all the other events at your school. DVD recording/duplicating - it's a good thing.

This and other bits and pieces about educational technology can be found in my Technology pages.
