An Achievable Dream or Nightmare?

I feel strongly that we must never stifle a child's will. You can bolster his spirit and build character without subjecting him to two extra hours a day of school and thirty more school days per year. I speak from experience as I was vice-principal of a similar school ten years ago. Setting a tone, providing good examples and solid academics are part of the mix. Dominating children isn't. Furthermore, parenting and the three way partnership of child, parent and school are critical components to successful schools.
