All that history, all those memorial gifts and named buildings, staffing decisions to make and a hundred other details to consider. It's a project which must be handled with all the skill of a diplomat and the pastoral sensitivity of a counsellor. And if you don't get it right, you've set the school on a path to its ultimate demise. Kent School tackled its consolidation back in the '90's with great success. Wykeham Rise failed in the '80's.
