August 23, 2003Single Sex SchoolsSingle sex schools fell out of favor in the 1970's. Over the past decade they have regained their place in the educational landscape primarily because they have sold the benefits of single sex education very successfully. That's a hard thing to do in this day and age when the popular media blasts so many conflicting messages about young people's life styles. I have Boys Schools and Girls Schools listed.
