Comedian Ben Stiller first visited Haiti in 2009, six months before a disastrous earthquake struck the island nation, causing devastation in a nation that was already suffering. To help remedy the suffering, Stiller started a foundation called StillerStrong with his trademark humor and with a large dose of compassion. His organization has already rebuilt a school run by Save the Children in the remote central plateau region, and it is now turning to rebuilding other schools in Haiti and retrofitting them to withstand future earthquakes and hurricanes.
