In the Holiday Spirit: Free Schools

During the holiday season, it's time to remember the philanthropic and faith-based schools that provide a free private education. These schools include the relatively new Cristo Rey network of 24 college-prep Catholic schools, which ask parents to make only a small contribution towards their children's education, as well as older schools, such as The Milton Hershey School, founded in 1909 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Regis High School, a Jesuit boys' school founded by an anonymous benefactor in 1914 in New York City. These schools provide access to a private education for children whose parents would not be able to otherwise afford this type of education, and they provide the gift of a top-notch education all year round.

I was unaware with the fact that These schools include the relatively new Cristo Rey network of 24 college-prep Catholic schools..That’s good if they provide access to a private education for children whose parents would not be able to otherwise afford this type of education..
