In the wake of the Penn State sex scandal involving former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, it is clear that schools nationwide must re-evaluate their programs related to child abuse and put into place measures to prevent abuse. To that end, Dr. Anthony P. Rizzuto and Dr. Cynthia Crosson-Tower have written a book for the National Association of Independent Schools, or NAIS, entitled the Handbook on Child Safety for Independent School Leaders.
