Rizzuto and Dr. Cynthia Crosson-Tower have written a book for the National Association of Independent Schools, or NAIS, entitled the Handbook on Child Safety for Independent School Leaders. This invaluable guide helps independent school administrators and teachers put into practice comprehensive plans to recognize and prevent child sexual and physical abuse, which unfortunately affect a staggering number of children nationwide each year.
