In my twenty years of public school teaching, I taught juniuor high students, boys and girls together, for ten of those years. I know that in education, one size does not fit all. Girls and boys learn differently. Both need to learn the basics, but to continue co-ed classroom mode does them a disservice, especially boys. Boys are falling behind.

Whether the school is public or private, the best results come out of the single-sex classroom. [Please check out my blog for more on this subject. See URL above.]
