Every year it's the same thing. I always vow that I will have my holiday shopping done before December 15. Well, no such luck. A nasty bout of the flu and some inclement weather here in Raleigh, North Carolina conspired to scuttle several days from my shopping calendar. So here I am running around like a crazed person trying to get everything bought and packed up before I leave on vacation.
