Which Is The Oldest School?

If you guessed its location as somewhere in the east, you are right. Several dozen private schools date from the 18th century, but the oldest school dates from 1628. The answer is here. By way of contrast Eton College so beloved by the British aristocracy, got its start in 1440. Actually the oldest U.K. school is Westminster School which is attached to Westminster Abbey, London. It dates back to 1179.
