Great People
Saturday September 8, 2007
Two greats died this week. One, a great musician, Luciano Pavarotti, thrilled audiences with his stunning tenor voice. The other, a great writer, Madeleine L'Engle, thrilled readers with her superb books. So, this weekend, why not take a few moments to sit quietly with your young person. Put on a Pavarotti CD. Get out A Wrinkle in Time. Do a little listening and a little reading. Then make sure that your child understands that both Pavarotti and L'Engle achieved greatness because they never lost sight of their vision.
A private education can help stretch your child. It can give her a solid foundation for college studies. Explore your options in Choosing a School 101.
