Early Education Choices: Waldorf or Montessori?

Rudolf Steiner started the education movement using anthrosophy as its basis in 1919. It became known as Waldorf education.
Maria Montessori developed her methodology at about the same time. What's fascinating is that both educators were terribly concerned about developing the whole child. Almost one hundred years later Waldorf and Montessori schools are bright beacons on the educational landscape. Their followers are legion. They also champion their particular movement's founder with great zeal!
