First 2007 Tropical Storm Visits Southeastern Coast

Saturday June 2, 2007
If your school is located in central and northern Florida or along the Georgia-South Carolina-North Carolina coast, watch out! Tropical Storm Barry is headed your way this weekend! If you manage a school, make sure all the windows and doors are firmly and tightly shut. The forecasters don't expect high winds, but even a single gust can do a lot of damage, right? Keep an eye on Barry if you are running a summer session within the storm track. Might be wise to email parents and let them know you are monitoring the situation hourly.
