How Safe is Your School?

I am not being paranoid, merely sensible. The safety of our students and employees has to be our major concern. In the aftermath of the recent school shootings we all need to review our school safety procedures. In the meantime, while that review is being done, take these simple steps to tighten things up.

    * Control access to your school campus. A gate with a guard is ideal.
    * Control access to your school buildings. Use keys and carded access wherever possible.
    * Require all faculty and staff to exercise constant vigilance. Be alert and aware.
