Music Software

Monday September 18, 2006
The muse is finally returning after a seven year absence. So I have been exploring all the gadgets and software now on the market. My, how things have changed from the days when I thought Encore and Pro Tracks were hot stuff! Those programs are long gone, of course. The one purchase which I made years ago which will do me in good stead is my Studiologic SL-990 controller. I just bought an Intel P4 system with 1gb RAM and a 300gb hard drive for my music rig. Next purchase is Sibelius and some Event studio monitors.

So, what do you use at your school? Any Suzuki, Orff, Kodaly or Dalcroze fans lurking out there? I'd love to hear from you. I have some links at Music Teaching Resources which I hope you find useful.
