Top 5 COOP/HSPT/TACHS Test Prep Books

Wednesday June 14, 2006
These books will give your child lots of practice with the Catholic high school admissions tests. Most Catholic high schools require some form of admissions testing, most commonly using COOP, HSPT and TACHS. Each book offers plenty of practice at verbal and math skills tests. You will also find lots of insight and test-taking tips.

Suggestion: Hire a Catholic high school student to guide your child through the test preparation process. Schedule an hour a day of test prep in the morning hours while everyone is fresh. You will kill two birds with one stone: your child will understand the admissions tests better and, even more importantly, will develop a friendship with an upperclass person at the high school she plans to attend.
