Those Dark Hiding Places: The Invisible Web Revealed

A recent EDC report suggested that teachers didn't know how to search the Web effectively. Having struggled for almost 13 years with Web searches, I understood immediately what the report was saying. So I glibly keyed in "searching effectively" into Google and was rewarded with some fascinating results.

Incidentally, there are commercial search applications which help students by eliminating all the commercials or sponsored links. Students don't always make the distinction between a 'sponsored link' and a bona fide search result. net Trekker is an example of this kind of software.
