Self-injury: A Treatable Syndrome

This article began five years ago as an article on teen suicide. I've experienced a couple of friends and colleagues dying this way over the years. I honestly can't think of anything quite as devastating as suicide. It's horrible. It scatters guilt and sadness everywhere in its path.
