Q & A: Where Do I Find An Affordable School?

Q. I am looking for a boarding school for my highly intelligent, underachieving African American son. He lost his father at the age of 12 months. Although we are on a tight budget, I would like to find an affordable boarding school that fits his needs.
A. If you live in Philadelphia, you are in luck! Check out Girard College. Tuition free. Here's a complete list. Always ask the Admissions staff for information on scholarships and grants. You'd be surprised at how much money is available. Good luck!

We are a family of 3. Wife is a homemaker. I’m wondering if anyone might know of a school that can help us with our child’s behavior and lack of interest in school. He’s a good kid at home, however, at school he seems to get in trouble and not do work.
