Do You Have Enough Insurance?

Thursday October 13, 2005
It's sad to hear about a retired private school teacher in Toronto who was sued for alleged sex abuse of a former student. Seems his case just went to trial. It took the jury one hour to find him not guilty. In the meantime he has delared bankruptcy and lost his house in order to pay for attornies' fees to clear his good name. Teachers, as a rule, are not wealthy people. All the more reason for you to make sure that you have adequate liability insurance. Don't put off a review of your insurance requirements. Do it this week.
