Art Museums of the World

Sunday October 9, 2005
Enhancing your teaching with technology poses all kinds of challenges, except if you are a fine arts or art history teacher. Your lesson plans have always depended on slides and videos for content. The only downside was that the content tended to be expensive and static. (Remember slides and carousel slide projectors?)

Now the Internet brings the treasures of the world to your classroom at a low cost. Rich in imagery and detail, museum Web sites offer your students a glimpse of the past, present and future. Inexpensively and dynamically.

And, remember that there is a plethora of original source materials and existing scholarship which offer your IB and AP students the research data they require for their projects.

Explore new worlds in your Fine Arts classes electronically. fine-art.com offers a marvelous virtual catalog. Check it out.
