Private Schools in Baton Rouge Escape Katrina's Wrath

George T. Thompson of Christ Presbyterian School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, informs me that his school and the other private schools in Baton Rouge are safe and sound after Hurricane Katrina's unwelcome visit to their area. However, he tells me that schools in Slidell and metropolitan New Orleans did not fare so well. Judging by what you and I have seen in the news reports, I believe him.

As of this writing I have no further news about other schools. If you hear something about schools in those hurricance ravaged areas, please email me so I can share it with our readers.
