Have you checked out digital yearbooks? Many schools are using DVD burning technology to create some pretty amazing yearbooks. What a great idea! In the bad old days you started working on the yearbook in the fall for submission to the printer in the spring. It was a tedious process and very costly. Now a DVD duplicator can be had for $2-3,000 and digital photography and audio do the rest. Not only that, but the same equipment can be used to record all the other events at your school. DVD recording/duplicating - it's a good thing.

The School Visit
Visiting the schools on your short list is critical. There's no substitute for setting foot on the campus and getting the feel of the place. Your child's happiness is at stake!
Design Matters
I'm still surprised at the number of schools which have poorly designed Web sites. what kind of an impression does that make on prospective parents and students?

DVDs are fine and well, but most people still want the physical books. My company creates the physical books using an online system, making it cheaper than your DVD duplicating option - www.allyearbooks.co.uk
